Whether you are calling in regards to an emergency with your pet or stopping by to pick up a medication, our staff of friendly and knowledgeable receptionists will be there to assist you.
Becky
Reception Supervisor
Leading the way in courtesy and respect is NAH's Reception Supervisor Becky. A third generation administrative professional, she has over 16years of experience in office management and client service. Her interests and concern for animals' health and well-being led her to work at the Newport Animal Hospital. Becky currently resides in Middletown with her husband, son and adopted kitty committee, including Thanksgiving day rescues "Turkey", "Stuffing" and "Squash".
Mandy
Mandy has been a member of the NAH staff since 2004. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Southern Connecticut State University, Mandy relocated to Rhode Island. Mandy's love and knowledge of animals led her to a position her at N.A.H. She currently resides in Newport with her Pomeranian "Moses", her Maine Coon Cat "Jolie", and her Potter adopted Feline Friend "Possum".
Kathleen
A native of Newport, RI, Kathleen's pets have included dogs, parakeets, and turtles. After attending college in Southern California, Kathleen returned to Newport, where she eventually fulfilled her desire to work with animals. Kathleen's friendly and outgoing personality made her a natural when it came to her role as a Veterinary Receptionist. She currently resides in Newport, RI with her yellow lab "Maia" and her guinea pigs "Clancy", "Seamus" , "Luciano", and "Senior Juarez" and her new cat "Piorot".
Tammy
Tammy started working as a receptionist at the end of August 2007. Tammy is originally from Maine. She attended the University of Maine in Farmington to study Business management. She currently lives with her family in Newport. They have a Golden retriever named "Riley".
Dori
Dori began working for the Newport Animal Hospital in May of 2009. Dori is from Portsmouth, RI and currently lives there now. She attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA. Dori graduated with a BA in English and Communications. She started working at Newport Animal Hospital because she loves helping people and their animals. Dori has a 10year old Beagle named "Shnook" and a 5year old cat "Samo".
Kate
Kate also began working for the Newport Animal Hospital in May of 2009. She is originally from Mattapoisett, MA. Kate graduated from Plymouth State University with a BA in Marketing minoring in Communications. She started working at Newport Animal Hospital because of her love for animals. Kate currently resides in Newport with her cat "Cali" and is on the lookout for a puppy!!!
