Outi
Jamestown and Newport Animal Clinic Supervisor
Outi began working at NAH in February of 1998. Originally a native of Finland, Outi journeyed to the US to start a new career. While in Europe, Outi spent several years working with and training horses. Her interest in animals led her to a position here at NAH. Outi can often be seen working at the two satellite offices. Her role as Clinic Supervisor allows her to take part in her favorite aspect of the job, client service and client education. Outi has three cats at home "Bob", "Frida" and "Tony".
Lindsey
Surgical Supervisor
Lindsey became a member of the NAH team in 2001. Hailing from Marion, MA, Lindsey became a resident of Aquidneck Island while attending Salve Regina University. Her love for animals and their care, led her down the veterinary technician career path. As a Surgical Supervisor Lindsey's interests include, anesthesia, oral surgery and dentistry. She is constatnly learing the newest procedures to make surgeries at NAH more efficient. Lindsey has trained many of our wonderful surgery staff to become the amazing technicians they are today. Lindsey currently resides in Middletown with her Anguillan pup "Fin", and her two kitties "Chopper", and "Ina".
Melissa, CVT
Melissa began working as a technician at NAH in the summer of 2000. After receiving a B.S in Biology from Hood College, Melissa decided to further her career as a tech and chose to pursue an education in veterinary technology. She received her certification from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado. Upon receiving her certification, she returned to RI. Her interest include emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery. Melissa has been dreaming of working in this field since she was 5yrs old. Her canine and feline friendly home includes a Siamese Cross named "Mushu", and Oriental Shorthair named "Bernie", and a French Bulldog named "Ramona".
Jackie
Outpatient Staff Supervisor
Jackie has been a member of the NAH team since 2005. After receiving a B.A. in Psychology from Roger Williams University, Jackie decided to explore a career which focused on her love for animals. She has an interest in surgical procedures, dentistry, client education, and her favorite breed Golden Retrievers. The compassion and love for her job has lead her to be our newest supervisor. Jackie does and amazing job dealing with both animals and clients. We always get a lot of positive feedback from clients about her patient care. Jackie currently lives in Tiverton with her cats "Frankenstien", "Goliath" and "Kattashtrophe", her carin terrier "Ty", her puggle "Laney" and her new husband Brenden.

Lynn
Business Office Manager
Lynn started out as a technician at NAH in 2004. Her love of animals and interest in veterinary medicine brought her to a career at NAH. Her passion and dedication to providing the best care possible for our patients lead her to a new position-- she has taken on the responsibilities of Business Office Manager. While Lynn spends most of her time "behind the scenes" at our Hospital, she continues to work as a technician at least one day a week, usually at our Clinics. She enjoys spending time with our clients and their pets, as well as the hands-on care she can provide as a tech, too much to give it up! Lynn currently resides in S.E. Massachusetts, with her four adorable cats "Chewy", "Taz", "Buttercup" and "Dexter", and two Uromastyx lizards "Erwin" and "Indiana".
Maia
Maia has been a member of the NAH technician team since 2005. Upon receiving a degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, Maia began to work in the Social Services field. Her interest and love for animals led her to a position at NAH. Her occupational interests include Preventative Medicine, Diagnoses, and Affiliated Medications. Maia's compassion for animals of all shapes and sizes and her ability to stay calm and collected in a crisis makes her an important part of the NAH team. Her experitse with clients has lead her to be an crucial player at both our Jamestown and Newport clinics. Maia's pets include an English Bulldog named "Lola", two cats named "Arrow" and "Lila", and a new Dogue de Bordeaux puppy named "Scarlette".

Tony
Tony has been a member of the NAH team since 2005. Tony attended the University of Rhode Island, where he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. His interests in Animal Health led him to a position here at NAH. Tony's occupational interests include Preventative Medicine and Client Education. He has recently become a major member of our surgical team. Tony shows a passion for learning new skills and is excellent with animal care and restraint. He has excelled at everything we have taught him, and is great at client communication. Tony is the only staff member with out his own personal pets, but we don't hold it against him.

Heather
Heather has been a member of the NAH team since 2005. After earning a degree in Communications and Film, Heather returned to her native state of R.I. Having a great interest in animal care and well-being, she took on a technician position. Heather's veterinary interests include radiology and nursing care. Heather became an important member of our surgery staff. She is constantly wanting to learn new skills and is perfecting them at an amazing rate. Once open, Heather will be in charge of our new boarding facilitly. We have no doubt that she will do a remarkable job at running the new facility. She currently resides in Newport with her favorite canine companion, a boxer named "Haarley".
