"Leonardo" was the first one to be adopted of the four puppies. It was a love at first sight experience for new mom Sarah, a Pfizer representative for NAH. She adopted him right around Valentine's Day and what a gift he was to her. Sarah quickly thought of the name "Cody", representing CO for Colorado and Cody, short for a Kodiak Bear.
"Ike", aka The Cow, was the next to be adopted out. Steve came in to check out the puppies while his wife was out of town and knew that she would want "Ike". Sure enough, on a Monday morning, Mrs. DeToy came in and immediately picked out "Ike". As the expression on her face shows, she was ecstatic to be the new mom of "Ike". His new name is "Tex".
Next, "Paco" was adopted out to a great family. Ms. Taylor provides "Paco" with a large running area to help with his endless energy level. She also has another young dog that "Paco" will be able to grow up with. He is incredibly smart and learns quickly. He has been given the name "Jackson".
Finally, "Mike", now known as "Carl", was just adopted out to one of the technicians that works here at NAH. Michele had been taking him home on the weekends along with visits to the beach and running around in the sand. It was unbelievable to see how much he had grown in the past 3 weeks. He was handed over to Michele with one warning: "HE'S GOING TO BE BIG!" There's no doubt that he will be a spoiled pup.
